Get to Know This Role

The DTC eCommerce Manager is responsible for eCommerce and Shopify ownership for Sierra Nevada Brewing’s direct to consumer platform This role will lead partnership with brand marketing and innovation teams to elevate beer and beverage strategy via DTC eCommerce, as well as our entire assortment of apparel, food, and merchandise. This role reports to the eCommerce Marketing Manager and collaborates cross-functionally with the Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing teams, specifically customer loyalty, email marketing and DTC brand strategy leads.


What You Will Do

  • Set up, manage and execute all products and functions related to Shopify Plus Storefront
  • Work collaboratively with eCommerce and Customer Loyalty team to Identify and implement e-commerce, cart, email funnels, and new marketing automation for new product launches, promotions, events or key retail timeframes
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing and innovation team to extend retail activation programming into DTC eCommerce channel via promotion or product assortment inclusion for beer, non-alc and all other assorted items
  • Use of all necessary tools, software plug-ins and outside platforms (e.g. Gorgias, JudgeMe, Recharge, Klaviyo, and others) to increase sales of our Shopify store and priority growth initiatives
  • Manage eCommerce sales and marketing reporting and dashboards. Lead end-of-month reporting alongside Accounting lead to ensure transaction and journal entry accuracy, and constantly provide improvements based on ROI
  • Ability to onboard and train customer service support to align with evolving customer needs, policies, assortment and transaction related communications
  • Leverage Power BI and Shopify data insights to optimize online product assortment, pricing and drive new product procurement conversations with Gift Shop & Supply teams
  • Perform marketplace, competitor, and product analyses to optimize assortment, taxonomy and webstore UI as needed
  • Conduct audits of the live site to ensure all product content is updated and accurate. Enhances customer experience by optimizing homepage, site page, site search, etc.
  • Willingness to lead data driven approach to online assortment collaboratively with brand marketing team influence online brand programming


Please Apply if You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree Communications, Marketing, Analytics, or equivalent required
  • 3 years e-commerce experience in Shopify stores required
  • Passionate about beverage and working in an innovative dynamic channel. A strong interest in understanding and driving online user behavior
  • Complete understanding and execution of Shopify marketplace, including store setup, automation, inventory management, product listings, email automation and targeted digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills including experience with PowerBI, ShopifyPlus, ESP/CRM software
  • Experience with in-house and 3rd party web development teams
  • Must take ownership in his/her work, driven to perform and extremely comfortable with Performance-based financial rewards
  • Savvy e-commerce specialist with the ability to think independently and build marketplace strategy and execute
  • Self-starter, takes initiative – entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with evolving strategies
  • Willingness to lead cross departmentally and educate internal teams on direct-to-consumer and Shopify marketplace as it relates to integrated marketing
