ELPRO Services announces personnel additions, promotion | News, Sports, Jobs

MARIETTA — ELPRO Services Inc. has promoted one person and hired five new employees.

The company has promoted former lab technician Amanda VanHorn to the customer success team. The new employees are: Tisha Voland, sales manager; Morgan Romine, online sales; Megan Sams, Southeast territory account manager; Rachel DePuy, lab technician; and Sarah Sisson, customer success.

ELPRO provides environmental monitoring solutions to pharma, biotech, life science, logistics and healthcare companies and has been in business over three decades. The company has a range of monitoring equipment and services to collect data, ensuring drugs are safe during manufacturing and distribution.

A Parkersburg resident, VanHorn previously worked with ELPRO’s temperature monitoring hardware, ensuring top-notch quality and regulatory compliance. She has a wealth of knowledge, is friendly and helpful, which are ideal for her new role on the customer success team.

Voland, from Marietta, is a seasoned sales professional with a track record of business growth primarily in the oil and gas industry. Her responsibilities as a sales manager at ELPRO include territory sales, online sales, goods and services projects and customer service.

“This is a tough job with a lot of moving parts,” Mike Quinn, director of sales, said. “Tisha hit the ground running, and her steady speed is making an obvious improvement in our work flow.”

Romine was raised in Reedy, W.Va., and graduated from the University of Charleston. She previously worked in laboratories and recently shifted her focus to providing environmental monitoring solutions for lab techs, scientists and managers of pharmaceutical storage and distribution.

Representing ELPRO from North Carolina, Sams accepted the challenge to cultivate business in the Southeast region of the U.S. She has 20 years of sales experience, her most recent focus being in healthcare.

With ELPRO, Sams is implementing her selling strategies in a growing network of clients within the pharma and healthcare industries.

“Megan has a significant understanding of our healthcare customers. She knows how to translate their priorities and budget into a solid solution they are happy with,” Ed Difilippo, ELPRO Services vice president of sales and marketing, said. “We are grateful she is joining our team.”

DePuy, of Marietta, earned three associate degrees from Washington State Community College in electrical engineering, electronic engineering and instrumentation and controls. She previously was an analyst in a wet lab doing hands-on research and experimentation.

Her current responsibilities are carried out in a dry lab that ensures ELPRO temperature sensors are calibrated with the highest standards of accuracy.

Sisson, also of Parkersburg, has a bachelor’s of science in athletic training from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a master’s of public health from West Virginia University. Sisson has an understanding of government health regulations, which is a huge component of the pharmaceutical industry and ELPRO customers.

Sisson also has experience in retail and sales.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know customers and building a connection so they walk away feeling valued,” Sisson said.

Sisson joined the customer success team in the Marietta office.
